Read the very interesting letters that I have made available for you if you still aren't sure what is going on. My only intent with the posting of these materials is to make them easy to read, gathered in one place. No copyright misuse or infringement is intended on this site. This is my personal site, and not intended for any commercial purposes.
I would give you a quote right about now from "one" of the many very interesting quotes used in "one" of the many different Star Trek episodes, but...
The fan sites only promote the franchise even more than the "official" continuum does. If the continuum ever does become the only site, I suggest that trekkers get together and have more than one person use the MSN account. Just give your MSN password to friends who like trek. I know this would never happen, but if all trekkers were logging in on less than ten MSN accounts, that would hit Viacom where it really hurts...the pockets! I hope Viacom hasn't taken over the domain of free speech yet, or I will probably be in trouble for suggesting this idea.
This has been a very bad PR move on Viacom's part. One of the people who received one of those "infamous letters" had helped them to do a survey for The 30th Anniversery Special on UPN. In an article (on his site) they claimed they had just found his site and sites like it a few months ago. I really don't think anyone would take that long to find Vidiot's site...it was very easy to find. Take a look at the letter he has posted: Viacom's Warpath
And to some of you reading this page, this is old news. But, as I said at the start of this page, I at least wanted to have some say on the web about Star Trek. I may not have that many images, sounds or quotes, but I still have the freedom to express myself.......I think.
Well, for me to say anything else would probably be redundant of what you've already heard, so for more info on stopping this: go to off headquarters And if you want to read the laws regarding copyrighting, go to this site: U.S.C. TITLE 17 - COPYRIGHTS
Here is a site with information from an interview with Johnathan Frakes. Click here. Well, I may have had to shut down my site, but I did help a friend set one up. You better visit her site soon, you never know! Star Trek from GloriAnon
