| Sliders is
a show that started on Fox. It follows the adventures of four people as
they "slide" to a different world every week trying to find a way home.
It started and ended it's first season at the same time as VR5. It was
canceled by Fox after the first season cliffhanger that left us wondering
if Quinn were alive or dead. Thankfully, fans wrote into Fox and
they brought the show back for two more seasons.
The third season had many changes involving
the loss of a major character and the gain of another. The timer
also went through a lot of changes, one of which let the sliders return
to any world they wanted to. Then at the end of the third season, the show
was canceled by Fox. But then Sliders was picked up by the SciFi
channel. So far the new season looks like it's going to be great
with the sliders trying to find a way to beat the evil Kromaggs.
The 4th season did bring us many great
new shows, but now for season 5 we will once again be saying goodbye to
old favorites and saying hello to new ones. For the latest news on
